Integrating GoProposal with Intuit Practice Management will help you whip your on-boarding process into shape by instantly triggering work for you and your team upon your client signing their engagement letter.
Let's get started!
Before you start
Before you bring this integration into play you'll want to make sure you have both of your systems set up correctly.
Ensure you are happy with your line items in GoProposal and have all of the matching work templates you need set up in Intuit Practice Management.
Step 1. Add your Intuit Access Key into GoProposal
To get started you'll need to generate your Intuit Practice Management Access Key which you will copy and paste into GoProposal in Step 2.
To do this login to Intuit Practice Management, and go to Settings > Connected Apps.
Click connect next to GoProposal and copy the connection token that is generated for you.
Step 2. Connecting Intuit Practice Management to GoProposal
In your GoProposal app, go to Settings > Integrations > Intuit Practice Management.
Here you can paste your Intuit Practice Management Access Key into the blank field. Remember to select 'save' at the bottom of the page to ensure this pulls through.
Step 3. Mirror your line items with work templates
The next step is to define which work template in Intuit Practice Management you would like to be triggered when a client chooses a specific service in GoProposal.
Head to Configure > Line items.
For every service which has a matching work template in Intuit Practice Management, select edit line.
From the integrations tab, you will see the option to assign the line item to a work template.
Repeat this step for your other line items as necessary.
Step 4. Mirror your proposal templates with work templates
You can also instruct GoProposal to trigger work templates in Intuit Practice Management any time a particular proposal template is signed by your client.
For example, every time a new client proposal template is signed you may want to trigger your client on-boarding process in Intuit Practice Management.
To do this, head to Configure > Proposal Templates and E-mails.
From here, select edit next to your proposal template and select the IPM tab.
Here you can assign this proposal template to any relevant work templates by typing them into the empty field.
Save your settings and you're all done!
Utilising the Integration
When you complete a proposal, you should now have the option to pull an existing contact through from Intuit Practice Management or add new contacts to IPM.
If this proposal is accepted and the letter of engagement is signed by your client, work templates will be triggered in Intuit Practice Management in line with your setup in Steps 3 and 4.
