If you are currently utilising the GoCardless Integration with GoProposal, you can now ensure prospects must make payment as an integral part of the signature process, otherwise the Engagement Letter will remain ineffective.
This means it is impossible for a signature to appear on the documents without providing payment details, so stopping you from needing to chase these payments.
How Do I Set This Up?
GoProposal needs to be integrated with a GoCardless account for this to be possible. To get connected, follow the steps in this article.
If you are already using the GoCardless integration, upgrade your existing integration to version two from Settings > Integrations.
You'll then be taken back to the Integrations page to reconnect the integration via GoCardless.
You will be prompted to login to GoCardless so enter your details and once you're in, you will be redirected back to the integrations page in GoProposal.
Amongst the settings on this page, you will see the option to take payments during acceptance instead of after acceptance, so ensure you have this selected and save your settings!
