Adding Notes About A Client's Proposal

Understand how you can add notes against Proposals for you and your team

When taking on a new client, you may want to make notes of when you have been in contact. For example, you may want to create a note to say 'chaser email has been sent' - this way you can keep on track of your client activity, and the date and time you last contacted them.

Step 1

Finding your Proposals.

The first thing you'll want to do is head to the Proposals tab from your Apps's Dashboard.

Here you will be able to view your latest proposals from the last 30 days. The first thing to do is search for the proposal you would like to add a note to. You can configure the settings from the top of your Proposal Dashboard if you are searching for a specific Proposal.

Step 2

How to add a note to your Proposal Timeline

Hover over the correct Proposal and select 'View Proposal Details'. Here you will then select the 'Timeline' tab.

At the bottom of your Timeline section, you will be able to add a note into the box 'Add note to timeline' and save - do this by clicking 'Add to timeline'.

Once you have selected 'Add to timeline', you will see the note appear on the timeline, alongside the date and time that it was added.
