In-app notifications for overdue or failed payments

Understand how in-app notifications work for overdue or failed payments in the GoProposal app and what feature restrictions apply.

The GoProposal app displays notifications when payments fail or become overdue. These alerts help you respond quickly and understand any feature limitations.


Notification details

  • The app enters Read-Only mode 15 days after the first failed payment

  • Stripe sends three payment failure notifications before Read-Only mode activates

  • In Read-Only mode:

    • You can view contacts

    • You can download previously submitted proposals and ID checks

    • Admin users can access the Subscription page to settle payment

  • A warning message appears on all accessible screens

  • After 30 days, the account enters the cancellation flow

  • The global warning message remains the same for the first 60 days of missed or overdue payment


Update your card payment details

  1. Go to Account and select Manage account.

  2. Click Update card details.

  3. Enter your card information.

  4. Click Update card details.
