Manage principals and staff visibility in proposals

Understand how to manage principals and staff visibility in proposals within GoProposal.

You can encounter situations where certain individuals, such as principals or staff members, don't appear in dropdown lists or proposal sections.

You control the visibility of principals and staff members in proposals through the Key People configuration.


Configuring Principal Officers

  1. Go to Configure and select Engagement Letters.

  2. Select Key People.

  3. Edit an existing entry or create a new one.

  4. Tick the relevant boxes to assign roles, such as Principal.

  5. Save your changes.

This ensures that the principal officers you configure are available for selection in proposals.


Updating Principal in Charge information

  1. Go to Configure and select Engagement Letters.

  2. Select Key People.

  3. Add a new principal or edit an existing one.

  4. Check the Principal box.

  5. Save the changes.

  6. When creating or editing a proposal, go to the Responsible Parties section. Select the updated principal from the dropdown list.

This process ensures that GoProposal assigns the correct principal to the proposal.
