Customise and manage engagement letter templates

Learn how to manage your engagement letter templates in GoProposal.

Engagement letter templates in GoProposal are highly customisable, letting you tailor them to your specific requirements. You can edit existing templates, add new sections, or create new templates. The OverSuite add-on also offers pre-made templates for those who prefer ready-to-use options.


Edit and customise templates

  1. Go to Configure and select Engagement Letters.

  2. Select the template you wish to edit and click Edit.

  3. Make the necessary changes, such as adding or modifying text, sections, or line items.


Add specific content

You can include specific details in your engagement letter templates, such as:

  • Phone Numbers: Amend the client email content

  • Staff Member Names: Update the staff member's name in the Internal Details section while creating or editing a proposal


Managing proposal changes post-edit

After changing an engagement letter template, you need to apply these updates to your proposals. You can do this by creating a new proposal or duplicating an existing one. This ensures GoProposal uses the latest template version.
