The GoProposal signature process requires the primary signatory to sign first. Once complete, the secondary signatory receives an email with a unique link to sign.

Follow the steps below to resolve any issues during the signature process.

Troubleshoot email delivery issues

  • Check Spam or Junk Folders: Ask the recipient to check their spam or junk folders for the email

  • Resend the Email: Go to the Signatures section of the proposal and select Resend Email

  • Verify Email Address: Ensure the recipient's email address is correct in the proposal's contact details

  • Email delivered but not found: If you can confirm delivery, send the recipient a direct signature link

Resolve signature link issues

Verify the link: Confirm the recipient is using the correct signature link

Clear browser cache and cookies: Ask the signatory to clear the cache and cookies, then retry

Check email address completeness: Ensure you've entered the secondary signatory’s email address in contact details

Manage signatory settings

Change client acceptance settings

  1. Go to Configure and select Templates & Emails.

  2. Edit the relevant template.

  3. Select Acceptance and choose your desired acceptance method.

Identify pending signatures and reminders

  1. Open the proposal.

  2. Select Actions then select Send email reminder.

  3. Select pending signers from the list (signed contacts appear greyed out).
