What is the No Signature confirmation in an engagement letter?

Understand the No Signature confirmation option in GoProposal engagement letters and how to configure its wording.

Written by Russell Henderson

GoProposal allows two types of confirmation in engagement letters:

  • Signature required

  • No signature confirmation

The No Signature option is useful when you send an engagement letter as an update without requiring formal acceptance, such as:

  • Sending an extra work order

  • Performing a quarterly fee review

When enabled, a no signature confirmation statement appears on the engagement letter. This applies to any proposal template where you set acceptance to No Acceptance or Acceptance Button Only.

How to configure the no signature confirmation wording

  1. Go to Configure and select Engagement Letters.

  2. In the Engagement Suite tab, click the Agreement Statements sections.

  3. Scroll to the No Signature version of the agreement statements.

  4. Edit the content as needed.

📌 TIP: Use clear wording to reflect the process you want clients to follow.
