How to edit the Please Note section in your proposal

Discover how to edit the Please Note section in GoProposal and manage the revenue and key dates table.

The Please Note section appears beneath the table of fees in your proposal. It's useful for adding important details such as proposal validity, terms, or other key information. You can also include or remove a table showing annual revenue and key dates. You can edit this section for a template or customise it for individual proposals.


Edit the Please Note section in a proposal template

  1. Go to Configure and select Templates & Emails.

  2. Click Edit next to the template you want to update.

  3. Select the PDF tab.

  4. Scroll to the Please Note section:

    • Edit the text as required

    • Use the toggle to switch the section on or off

    • Switch the revenue and dates table on or off if needed

  5. Click Save Template.


Edit the Please Note section when creating a proposal

Use this option to add bespoke details for a single client.

  1. Create a proposal and complete the client details.

  2. Scroll down to the Introduction and Please Note section.

  3. Edit the text to include any client-specific information.

  4. Save your changes before sending the proposal.
