How to generate disengagement letters and key documents with OverSuite

Understand how OverSuite subscribers can generate disengagement letters and other key documents in GoProposal.

If you subscribe to OverSuite, you can generate several important documents directly from GoProposal, including:

  • Disengagement letters

  • Professional clearance letters

  • Authority letters

  • Commission notifications

  • Third-party notifications

  • Service schedule change addendums

These documents help you manage client relationships and compliance without reissuing full engagement letters.


Issue disengagement letters and documents

  1. Go to the Proposals and Engagement Letters tab in the dashboard.

  2. Find the proposal you want to issue documents for.

  3. Click the Actions button on the right-hand side.

  4. Click Download PDF for the relevant document.

  5. Click Regenerate to update the document and complete the required fields in the pop-up.


Document notes

  • Disengagement letters: Use when ending a client relationship

  • Professional clearance and authority letters: Require previous accountant details

  • Commission and third-party notifications: Prompt for specific key fields

  • Service schedule change addendums: Use when services change, such as during OverSuite quarterly reviews. These allow you to notify clients without reissuing the full engagement letter
