Organisations often have their own processes when it comes to reporting and analysing proposal data.

In GoProposal, you can export various pieces of information to a CSV so you can store this, share with your team and analyse in a way that you want.

What data can I export from GoProposal?

There are two types of data you can export to CSV from your GoProposal App

  • Proposal Data. This data is built up of the Proposals you have created on your dashboard over specific periods of time so you can track various pieces of information about those proposals, such as the number of proposals won in a given month by a specific team member.

  • Line Item Data. You can run an export which gives you the total value attributed to different services across a set of proposals you choose. For example, you could see how much revenue you have generated from payroll services across a specific time period.

Where to Export your Proposal Data

Step 1 - Head to your GoProposal App > Proposal Dashboard

If you are looking to store and share your Proposal data, the first thing you need to do is head to your Proposal Dashboard from the top of your App.

Here on your Proposal dashboard, you would scroll to the bottom of the page until you reach 'Export Proposals'.

Step 2 - Exporting Proposal Data

Once you have selected ‘Export Proposals’, this will open up your documents. Here you will be able to save the GoProposal Export under a new name and folder.

Where to Export Line Item Data

Head to your GoProposal App > Proposal Dashboard

Step 1 -

If you are looking to export your Line Item data, the first thing you need to do is head to your GoProposal App > Proposal Dashboard. Here you can choose the type of Line Item data you would like to export.

So for example, you could change the status to 'Won', Type to 'Proposals', and Created 'Last Year'. Select 'Refresh Proposals' and it will bring up all of the proposals that fall under your search.

Step 2 - Exporting the Data

Once you have selected 'Export Line Items', this will then open up your documents. Here you can save your Exported Proposals in the name and folder of your choice.

Step 3 -

You will now be able to view a breakdown on your Line Items that have been created and used within the last year. This document will provide you with a breakdown on the 'Total Monthly Amount' and 'Total One-off Amount' generated from these proposals.

Step 3 - Share your Data

You have now been able to export your Proposal and Line Item Data. The next step is to collate this information, analyse, and share with your team in the way that you’d like!
