Who should authorise the engagement letter and privacy notice?

OverSuite allows you to request multiple signatures from different parties and specify which documents they must authorise. Understanding this process in GoProposal ensures compliance and protects your firm.

Who to request authorisation from and when

First engagement letter:

  • Request signatures from all directors on both the Privacy Notice and the Letter of Engagement

  • This confirms that all directors authorise the nominated individual as the main point of contact for instructions

Subsequent assignments:

  • Only the nominated individual needs to sign the Letter of Engagement, provided:

    • The nominated individual remains the same

    • The Privacy Notice hasn’t changed

    • The directors remain the same

If changes occur:

  • If directors change or you update your privacy notice, repeat the process used for the first engagement letter
