Connect GoProposal with BrightManager

Integrating GoProposal with BrightManager allows you to link contacts, trigger workflows, and managing proposals efficiently. Proper contact linking is essential for data exchange and workflow automation.

Step 1 - Obtain your BrightManager access key

  1. In BrightManager, go to Tools and select Integrations.

  2. Select GoProposal by Sage.

  3. Enter your GoProposal App Name (the business name in your GoProposal app).

  4. Copy the Access Key provided.

📌 TIP: You'll find your GoProposal App Name within your App URL at the top of your screen.

Step 2 - Connect GoProposal to BrightManager

  1. In GoProposal, go to Settings and select Integrations.

  2. Find BrightManager and click Connect.

  3. Enter your BrightManager Access Key.

  4. Click Connect to complete the integration.

Step 3 - Ensuring contact linking for proposals

  • Always start proposal creation in GoProposal, not BrightManager

  • On the proposal creation page, search for and select the contact from BrightManager

  • Confirm the system shows the contact is linked to BrightManager

Step 4 - Triggering workflows through proposals

  • Before sending a proposal, verify the contact is active and linked in BrightManager

  • When you send the proposal, GoProposal will trigger the associated BrightManager workflows if the contact is correctly linked

Troubleshooting common issues

  • Proposals not transferring correctly:
    Ensure you create the proposal GoProposal and the contact is linked to BrightManager

  • Workflows not triggering:
    Check that the contact is active in BrightManager at the time of proposal creation
