Written by Russell Henderson

To remain compliant, you must issue a separate engagement letter for audits or independent examinations. This letter must include the correct scope and service schedule.

Step 1 - Select the correct audit scope

When creating your engagement letter, choose the appropriate audit scope from OverSuite:

  • Limited Company (Audit)

  • Limited Liability Partnership (Audit)

  • Charity (Audit)

  • Community Interest Company (Audit)

  • Club (Audit)

Step 2 - Include the correct service schedule

  • Ensure you have an Audit line item configured

  • Assign the OverSuite Audit Service Schedule to this line item

  • When you select the Audit line item in your proposal, the correct schedule will automatically pull through to the engagement letter

Step 3 - Preview your engagement letter

Before sending, confirm the letter includes:

  • Audit scope section

  • Audit service schedule section

  • Standard content such as:

    • Introduction

    • Terms and conditions

    • Privacy notice

    • Agreement statements
