What are Success Steps?

Success Steps track your activity in GoProposal and show what to complete next. They help you:

  • Understand your progress

  • Stay accountable to goals

  • Celebrate milestones like your first accepted proposal

The four Success Step categories

1. Basic Setup

  • Configure core areas such as pricing and engagement letters

  • Complete these steps to send your first proposal quickly

2. Results (Time to Value)

  • Track proposals created and accepted

  • Measure progress with new and existing clients

3. Advanced Setup

  • Add integrations after completing Basic Setup

  • Common integrations include Xero, QuickBooks, BrightManager, and GoCardless

4. Mastery

  • Focus on team engagement and client-centric practices

  • Use the Gloss Method to align services with client goals and timelines

How do Success Steps work?

  • Success Steps ticks off most steps automatically when you complete tasks in GoProposal

  • When all steps in a category are complete, the award icon lights up

  • Two steps require manual completion:

    • Version one of your pricing (Basic Setup)

    • Completion of a Gloss Review (Mastery). To tick these off, go to the relevant area and select the circle tab

📌 TIP: Success Steps are designed to help you achieve value quickly and adopt best practices for long-term success.
