Draft proposals allow you to review pricing, proposal content, and engagement letters before sending them to clients.
A client can't sign a draft proposal until you change the status to live.
Can a client sign a draft proposal?
No. Draft proposals are for internal review only.
If you send a draft to a client, they'll see this message on the acceptance page:
“This proposal is a draft and therefore cannot be signed.”
How to make a draft proposal live
Go to the Proposals and Engagement Letters tab in the dashboard.
Find the draft proposal you want to update.
Click the Actions button on the right-hand side.
Click Make Live and Send.
Result:
The proposal status changes to Live
The system emails a copy of the proposal and engagement letter to the client for acceptance
