Set up repeating invoices in Xero and QuickBooks

You can efficiently manage client invoicing using GoProposal. Choose either auto-invoicing through GoProposal or set up repeating invoices in Xero or QuickBooks to ensure accurate billing for your clients.

Auto-invoicing from GoProposal

  • Configure auto-invoicing in the Xero/QBO Integration option in Settings

  • When enabled, the system automatically generates invoices each month in Xero or QuickBooks based on the proposal details

  • GoProposal continues to raise invoices after the proposal ends, unless you renew it or replace it with a new one

  • You can view all repeating invoices in by going to Invoices and selecting All Repeating


Replacing an invoice

You can create a new proposal or renewal to replace an existing invoice. This keeps your services and pricing up to date for the next billing cycle. If you use Xero or QuickBooks, update the repeating invoice settings to extend or adjust the schedule.

  • Repeating invoices in Xero/QBO: Managed in your accounting software, with more flexibility for customisation
