Understand your ID check report in GoProposal AML

Understand the results of ID checks in GoProposal AML and how to interpret them for compliance decisions.

Written by Russell Henderson

Running an ID check in GoProposal AML generates a report and stores it in your Client Hub. The details below explain the results and how to review them.

GoProposal AML offers three types of checks:

  • Basic Check

  • Document Check

  • Biometric Check

Basic check results

What the report includes:

  • Database address match

  • Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and sanctions screening

The report marks each item as Passed or Consider.

Interpreting the results

  • Auto-approved: All items passed. You can review and approve the report

  • Consider: The report flags one or more items. You can review this before deciding to approve or fail the check

Handling “Consider” flags

  • Address match failure: Speak with your client. Ask them if they've recently moved. You can request proof of address if needed

  • PEP flag: Review the details in the report. Compare the name and location with the client’s ID. If you confirm the client as a PEP, apply enhanced due diligence

Biometric check results

What the report includes

  • Document report (with or without NFC chip)

  • Facial similarity report

  • PEPs and sanctions screening

Interpreting the results

  • Facial comparison failure: Check the report. You can contact the client to confirm they followed the steps. If you can't verify their identity, don't proceed
