How to edit the proposal introduction for one client

Learn how to customise the introduction text of a proposal for a specific client in GoProposal.

Written by Russell Henderson

Proposal templates control the default wording in your proposals, including the introduction. While templates ensure consistency, you may need to personalise the introduction for a specific client. GoProposal allows you to edit the introduction text for individual proposals without changing the template.

Step 1 - Create the proposal

  1. Create a proposal as usual.

  2. Generate the fees for your client.

Step 2 - Complete the proposal details

  1. Enter the company and client information.

  2. Scroll down to find the Proposal Introduction section.

  3. Open the tab and edit the introduction text to include your bespoke message.

Step 3 - Preview your changes

  1. Scroll further down to the Preview Proposal option.

  2. Review the proposal to ensure your customised introduction appears correctly.

  3. Send the proposal when you’re satisfied with the changes.

Your proposal will include a personalised introduction for this client only, without affecting your templates.
