What are service schedules and where to find them

Understand what service schedules are in GoProposal and where they appear in your engagement letters.

Written by Russell Henderson

Service schedules are paragraphs of legal text specific to a service you provide, such as payroll or annual financial statements.

Include them in the engagement letter for any client who selects that service. Manually creating these letters can be time-consuming. However, GoProposal automates this process. It pulls the correct service schedules into the Schedule of Services section of your engagement letter.

What are service schedules?

  • Legal text outlining responsibilities for a specific service

  • Examples include:

    • Preparation of annual financial statements

    • Preparation of VAT returns

    • Benefits in Kind (P11D) services

    • Payroll services

Where to find your service schedules

  • Open a recent engagement letter sent to a client

  • Service schedules appear after the introduction, scope, and terms and conditions

  • They’re grouped under the Schedule of Services section and relate to each selected service
