What are Service Schedules?
Service schedules are paragraphs of legal text that are specific to a service you deliver, such as payroll or annual financial statements.
Every engagement letter in GoProposal has a dynamic Schedule of Services section, which pulls key service terms through to the document where required.
For example, your annual accounts service schedule will only pull through where that service is included in your clients proposal.
To make this possible, service schedules need to be assigned to individual line items (services) in GoProposal. Here's how you do it..
Step 1. Assigning Service Schedules to Line Items
Head to Configure > Line Items..
.. and edit the service with the service schedule you need to import.
A popup box will appear.
From within the contents tab you will need to copy and paste your service schedule for this service into the service schedule box.
You will need to do this for each service schedule that has been provided by your Awarding Body.
If you are subscribed to the GoProposal OverSuite, then your service schedules will have been generated for you. You just need to assign the correct Smart Service Schedule to the line item it corresponds to.

Either way, make sure you save your line item once you're done adding your Schedule.
Step 2. Setting up the rest of your Engagement Letter
Service Schedules form a key part of your engagement letter, but you'll also want to make sure you have added other key components such as your terms and conditions and entity templates to generate the correct engagement letter every time.

Edit the Way You Introduce your Schedule of Services
You can tweak the way you introduce the Schedule of Services section in your Engagement Letter, including the heading you use and the introductory text beneath it.
To edit this introductory content, head to Configure > Engagement Letters > Engagement Letter Suite..
Open up the Schedule of Services tab using the arrow next to that section..
..and tweak the introductory content within this field.
Save your settings once you're done!
Applying Service Schedules to Sections
If you have sections in GoProposal where the same service schedule would apply to multiple services in that section, then you want to add these schedules in at a section level to avoid duplication in your letters.
A good example of this is the Personal Tax Return Submission. GoProposal facilitates the addition of Service Schedules to entire sections to enable this.
