If you're creating a proposal and your system gets stuck on calculating totals, we'd encourage you to check through the below pointers to see if we can get to the root of that for you.

Check 1: Are Xero/Quickbooks integrations setup correctly?

A common cause of this problem is a drop in connection with either your Xero or Quickbooks integration, or an incorrect setup of these.

Go to Settings > Integrations and then choose Xero or Quickbooks. On this page, check all of the fields have been filled out.

If fields are missing, we'd encourage reconnecting the integration by switching it on and off using the toggle.

Check 2: Check your line item pricing

If there are any fields within your line item pricing which do not have a value, this can cause issues when calculating the totals of all the services, as the system is trying to do calculations on a service where the value does not exist. Example screenshot below.
To narrow down which line item is causing the issue, check which services you have selected in the Create Proposal page and then head to the back end of the app (Configure > Line items) and edit each line item, hop into the pricing tab and look for any empty fields.

Check 3: Consider your browser extensions

Grammarly has been found to effect proper functioning of GoProposal. This extension can also cause substantial slowness when using the app.

If you're using Grammarly, we'd encourage you to use GoProposal in a separate browser, an incognito window or switch off the extension where you are happy to.

To test if the issue is being caused by Grammarly or another extension you are using, try loading the app in a private browser and see if your problem persists.
