How annual revenue pricing works

Discover how to use annual revenue range pricing for line items in GoProposal and when it’s most effective.

Written by Jack Choppin

Annual revenue pricing bases service fees on a client’s annual revenue. This is useful for services where the workload depends on revenue, such as annual accounts or VAT returns.

Understand how it works

  • When creating a proposal, you select the client’s annual revenue range

  • This selection drives the fees for any services priced using this method

Configure annual revenue pricing for a service

  1. Go to Configure and select Line Items.

  2. Click Edit Line next to the service you want to update.

  3. Select the Pricing tab.

  4. Set Pricing Type to Annual Revenue Price.

  5. Define the fees for each revenue range:

    • Enter a fixed amount for each range, or

    • Use the calculation option to multiply the previous range by a set value

  6. Click Save Line Item.

Edit revenue ranges if needed

  1. Go to Configure and select Pricing Tool.

  2. Overwrite the existing revenue ranges with your preferred values.

Optional:

You can also enable a Secondary Revenue Range for more complex pricing.

Your line item fees will now adjust automatically based on the client’s annual revenue range.
