How to configure pricing settings

Pricing settings control key elements in your proposals. Configuring these ensures GoProposal calculate fees accurately and align with your pricing strategy.

📎NOTE: Line item pricing needs to reflect real-life pricing, so you can only set them to two decimal places.

Access pricing settings

  1. Go to Configure and select Pricing Tool.

On this page, you can manage:

  • Annual revenue ranges

  • Secondary revenue ranges

  • Minimum monthly fees

  • Price rounding

  • Currency and tax settings

  • Fee display options

  • Upsell section preferences

📎 NOTE: Line items control service fees, not pricing settings.

Annual revenue ranges

  • You'll use revenue ranges when creating proposals and for revenue-based pricing methods

  • To edit, overwrite existing ranges or add new ones

Secondary revenue ranges

  • Add a second set of ranges if needed (for example, Investment Size)

  • These appear as an additional pricing method for line items and in proposals

Minimum monthly fee

  • Set a minimum monthly fee for all proposals

  • If a proposal total is below this amount, a top-up fee is added

📌 TIP: You can set different minimum fees at the proposal template level.

Price rounding

  • By default, fees round to the nearest £ or $

  • To disable rounding:

    1. Go to Configure and select Pricing Tool.

    2. Scroll to Price Rounding and tick Don’t round prices.

Currency

  • Choose from 23 currencies and display styles

  • Scroll to the Currency section in Pricing Tool Setup and select from the dropdown

Tax labels and percentages

  • Apply a tax label and percentage to display beneath the net calculation in proposals

Display breakdown of fees

  • Choose whether to show a full breakdown of line item fees or a total only in proposals

Upsell section

  • Add services to a client’s Roadmap for future delivery

  • Choose whether to display a roadmap icon or consider icon in proposals

  • Decide if you want to show fees for road-mapped services
