Service schedules are legal paragraphs for specific services like payroll or annual accounts. They appear in the Schedule of Services section of engagement letters when you include those services in a proposal.
By default, service schedules are linked to individual line items. However, if multiple services in a section share the same legal content, you can apply a service schedule at the section level. This prevents duplication and keeps your letters clear.
Why apply service schedules to sections?
Avoid repeating the same legal text for multiple services in one section
Ideal for services like bookkeeping or personal tax returns, where the same terms apply to several line items
Step 1 - Add a service schedule to a section
Go to Configure and select Line Items.
Find the section you want to update.
Click the Advanced options dropdown.
Toggle on Add Section Service Schedule.
Add your service schedule text into the field provided.
📎NOTE: If you use OverSuite, you can select a Smart Service Schedule for this section.
Step 2 - Configure line items in the section
Click Edit line for each line item in the section.
Scroll to Use Section Service Schedule.
