Sometimes you may need to make a few tweaks to your proposal templates or engagement letters before sending a proposal out to your client.

When you do this and then go to edit an existing proposal, these changes won't pull through automatically.

We just need to follow a couple of quick steps to refresh your system and pull these through for good 👍

Step 1. Edit the proposal you need to send out

After you have made the changes you require to your templates, edit the existing proposal you want to send out from your proposal dashboard.

Step 2. Change the proposal/engagement letter template

Change the proposal or engagement letter template from the one you have made changes to, to one you don't want to use...

.. and scroll down to the calculation interface and hit recalculate totals.

Step 3. Change the template back to the one you need

Scroll back up to basic information and change it back to the desired engagement letter/proposal template..

.. and scroll down to the calculation interface and hit recalculate totals (you get the gist).

Check 4. Your changes should have pulled through - Check

Your changes should have pulled through to your document now. To check this, select complete proposal and scroll down to the preview of your documents.

Preview either your proposal or engagement letter, depending on which one you have changed.
