What is the roadmap section and how to edit it

Learn about the roadmap section in GoProposal proposals, how to add services to it, and how to edit its features.

Written by Russell Henderson

The roadmap section appears at the end of a proposal and lists services your client could need in the future. It helps you demonstrate long-term value and handle objections about current fees. You can customise the section name, description, and icons to match your branding.

What is the roadmap section?

  • Displays services recommended for the future, not included in the current proposal

  • Helps you show clients how their needs could evolve as they grow or change

  • Reinforces your role in supporting their long-term success

Add services to the roadmap

  1. When creating a proposal, select the services you want to recommend for the future.

  2. These services will appear in the roadmap section of the proposal.

  3. To hide fees for roadmap services:

    1. Go to Configure and select Pricing Settings

    2. Adjust the display option

Edit the roadmap section name and text

  1. Go to Configure and select Templates & Emails.

  2. Click Edit next to the proposal template you want to update.

  3. Open the PDF tab.

  4. Edit the Upsell Section Text to change the heading and description.

How to change roadmap icons

When creating a proposal, choose whether to display a roadmap icon, or a consider icon for these services.
